Pro-life Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
I am pro-life however, I believe each person has the right to make his or her own personal choices and as Congressman I believe in equal rights under the law.
No Do you support United States' combat operations in Afghanistan?
Do you support a timetable for withdrawal from Afghanistan?

No do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
No do you support reducing Medicaid spending?
No do you support reducing Medicare spending?
Yes Is balancing the budget a legislative priority?
Yes Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
All contributions should be regulated as being transparent so that in case federal contracts are awarded, it ill be easier to determine whether or not there is a connection between the two.
No Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes?
Yes Do you support providing tax incentives to businesses for the purpose of job creation?
Yes Do you support spending on infrastructure projects for the purpose of job creation?
Yes Do you support the temporary extension of unemployment benefits?
Yes Do you support the 2010 temporary extension of tax relief?
Unknown Position Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support requiring states to implement education reforms in order to be eligible for competitive federal grants?
I support requiring states to implement education reforms to be eligible for competitive federal grants, with the stipulation to include educators making decisions regarding the needs of our students. The Surgeon General, who is a physician, oversees the operations of public health services. Educators, who are teachers, must have the same authority. Educators work with our children daily and are hands-on in the classroom. Educators have first-hand knowledge of what their classrooms/students or a particular student's needs are. Educators must not have to succumb to the whims of persons who have never set foot in a classroom.
No Do you support reducing restrictions on offshore energy production?
Yes Do you believe that human activity is contributing to climate change?
Yes Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
Climate change is a natural occurrence as not all heat is absorbed by the earth, some by greenhouse gases preventing heat from continuing into the atmosphere. However our actions contribute to the greenhouse effect or global warming by the burning of fossil fuels, methane, coal, cutting down forests without replanting, excessive use of electricity, etc. releasing more CO2 into the air causing the temperature to become warmer.
Yes Do you support restrictions on the purchase and possession of guns?
No Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act?
Should individuals be required to purchase health insurance, as mandated in the 2010 Affordable Care Act?
Everyone in America is not in the position to purchase health insurance, many do not have life insurance. The poor will always be among us. Today we have families who were considered middle-class, now part of the working poor. On average, people are proud to pay their fair share for all services. However, with inflation outweighing raises, we must take a closer look at funding earmarked for charitable services outside of the United States. America for Americans first.
Do you support requiring illegal immigrants to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
Do you support allowing illegal immigrants, who were brought to the United States as minors, to pursue citizenship without returning to their country of origin?
Do you support the enforcement of federal immigration law by state and local police?
No Do you support same-sex marriage?
As a Christian and Bible believer as stated, Marriage is between a man and a woman. However, I am not homophobic and I do believe in equal protection under the law.
Do you support targeting suspected terrorists outside of official theaters of conflict?
Should the U.S use military force in order to prevent Iran from possessing a nuclear weapon?
Yes Do you support allowing individuals to divert a portion of their Social Security taxes into personal retirement accounts?
Social Security was set up for retirement. Monies were deducted from taxpayers income without their permission for this very reason. What needs to happen is for the government to protect social security because those funds belong to the people. Once they reach the age of retirement, they can take it and do as they please.
